Dark Souls: The Four Kings of New LondoI knelt on one knee to the wet ground, my hand placed down on the intricate, glowing writing below me. In the gloom, damp darkness of the ruins around me, this alone stood out, a sign written on the soil in an ancient language I could never understand. But I still knew what it said. Written out, by white soapstone was an Undead's name, the form of a possible gateway through time and space: from another world like my own. There, another Undead like me could materialise into my world as a phantom, to aid me in battle until the Lord of that area was defeated.
